Sales Manager
- 5 to 7 years’ experience (preferably in Freight Forwarding or Logistics Companies)
- Valid Driving License
- 4 wheeler vehicle (allowance will be provided)
Responsibilities
– Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the freight forwarding industry.
– Manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
– Identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivating and maintaining relationships with key clients.
– Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth.
– Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and logistics, to ensure smooth customer delivery processes.
– Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and budgets, presenting them to senior management.
– Stay updated with industry regulations, market conditions, and customer preferences.
– Handle negotiations and contract discussions with customers and vendors.
– Conduct regular sales meetings, trainings, and presentations to motivate and educate sales team members.
Required Skills
– Strong understanding of the freight forwarding industry and logistics operations.
– Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in a freight forwarding or related industry.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
– Ability to lead and motivate a sales team, setting clear goals and objectives.
– Analytical thinking and strategic planning abilities to identify market opportunities.
– Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking systems.
– Negotiation and persuasion skills to close deals and secure contracts.
– Good problem-solving skills to address customer issues and provide effective solutions.
– Strong organizational and time management skills to meet targets and deadlines.
